Description

Indeed, this radio carries the Tesla name—but its history goes further back. Originally, this five-circuit superheterodyne receiver, powered by its own built-in battery, was called MARKOFON. It was designed and produced by a company of the same name based in Brno. After the firm was nationalized in 1948, the final series of these receivers were manufactured under the Tesla brand.
