Description

The Pathe Concert gramophone is an elegant yet unconventional model. Unlike traditional designs, its sound conduit and horn are routed through the interior of the device. Even upon opening the beautifully inlaid door featuring a black-and-white rosette motif, the horn remains hidden—concealed behind a printed, colorful fabric.
This gramophone is yet another entry in the near-endless series of modifications that the French company Pathé Frères produced at the turn of the 20th century, seemingly with remarkable speed. Each new iteration reflected the company's relentless innovation, making this model both visually striking and technically fascinating.
