The Atwater Kent Model 20C, launched in 1925, was a compact tube radio by the American manufacturer Atwater Kent Manufacturing Company. Known as the “Compact,” this model was equipped with five 201A tubes and operated within the medium wave band. Its design featured a truly elegant wooden cabinet, offering users not only functionality but also a touch of sophistication.
Designed for use with high-impedance headphones or speakers like the Atwater Kent Model H, the 20C proved to be a versatile choice. Its popularity was remarkable—around 163,776 units were produced in 1925 alone, highlighting its appeal not only in America but also in Australia and Europe.
